Ground Launch Targets and Services

Coleman Aerospace provides a variety of suborbital launch vehicles, payloads, and launch services to MDA, the US Army, and Air Force. Since the award of the Theater Missile Defense (TMD) Targets contract in 1992, Coleman has conducted over 25 target missile missions. Of those missions, several demonstrated new capabilities and/or launch sites. The following elements were demonstrated several times: atmospheric reentry targets for THAAD missiles; THAAD radar experiments; and targets for PAC-3.
